Suspects arrested in August armed robbery case in south Macon
Fingerprints found on discarded drinking cups led to an arrest in an armed robbery case in south Macon.
Investigators identified Davious Traymon Aaron, 20, as a suspect in an Aug. 7 armed robbery at the Family Dollar at 5615 Houston Road.
After deputies issued a lookout for Aaron, he met with Bibb County sheriff's investigators about 10 p.m. Thursday.
During that time, a connection between Aaron and the armed robbery was established.
Three black male suspects had entered the store, and two of them eventually displayed handguns and demanded cash before the group fled in a green Honda.
Aaron was arrested and charged, and he is being held at the Bibb County jail without bond.
Macon resident Chrystal Cain, 39, was also arrested Friday in connection with the robbery, after investigators discovered that Cain allegedly communicated information to the suspects about when to enter the store.
Additional arrests are pending further investigation.
