Masked men rob Macon Dollar Tree clerks

An armed robbery took place in the parking lot of the Dollar Tree on Forsyth Road, according to a news release from the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office.

Two clerks were leaving the store when two masked men came around the corner of the building. One of the masked men brandished a silver handgun and demanded money from the clerks. After receiving an undisclosed amount of cash, the two masked men fled the parking lot on foot.

No one was injured during the incident.

The two suspects were wearing all black, baggy clothes and were wearing masks, according to the release. The two men were approximately 5 feet 8 inches to 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighed around 200 pounds.
