Bibb County Sheriff’s Office looking for armed robbery suspect

The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help locating 22-year-old Emmanuel Lee Stroud Jr., of Macon.

Stroud is wanted in connection with a personal armed robbery that occurred outside the Golden Corral Restaurant located at 4704 Presidential Parkway just after 9 p.m. Wednesday, according to a news release from the sheriff’s office.

An 18-year-old woman of Macon, was walking from the restaurant when a man who goes by “Man-Man” later identified as Stroud, came up to her and asked if she had seen his cellphone. She told him no but Stroud went through her pockets without her permission and took two cellphones that did not belong to him. He also displayed a handgun. Stroud got into a vehicle with two other subjects and left the scene.

Arrest warrants have been issued on Stroud for armed robbery, possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony and criminal street gang activity. He is described as a black male, 5 feet 3 inches in height and weighs about 115 pounds.
