Bibb Sheriff’s Office looking for Macon man in connection with shooting
The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is trying to locate an 18-year-old man in connection with a Macon shooting last week.
Qadarrius Redding, also known as “Pee Wee,” of Macon is wanted in connection with the shooting Wednesday of James Bradley, 18, according to a news release from the sheriff’s office.
Bradley was sitting outside the Unionville Gym at 2227 Mercer University Drive with a friend when two men with guns approached them. Bradley and his friend began to run, and the two men fired at them and chased them, according to a news release. Bradley was shot once in the right leg and taken to a local hospital. The friend was not injured.
Arrest warrants have been issued on Redding for aggravated assault, possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony and criminal street gang activity. He is described as a black male, 5 feet 7 inches in height and weighs about 150 pounds.
