Suspects sought in August shooting incident in Macon
Two more suspects are being sought after shots were fired from a vehicle in Macon back in August.
On Aug. 24, the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office received word that shots were being fired from a Blue Nissan Altima by “several male suspects,” according to a release. No one was injured, and after the vehicle led the gang unit on a short chase, two suspects were arrested while two others fled.
The two suspects still on the loose have been identified as Macon residents Damian Shaquille Fryer, 23, and Rodney Jaumal Roquemore Jr., 21, according to a release.
Fryer, a black male, is about 5-foot-11 and 220 pounds with tattoos on both arms and possibly a beard and mustache. He has been known to hang out in the Bellevue and Unionville areas of Macon and has warrants for gang, firearm and obstruction charges. Roquemore is around 5-foot-10 and 140 pounds and is also a black male. His warrants are for obstruction and street gang activity.
Donte Duran Andrews, 21, and Dontavis Anquan Jackson, 25, have already been charged in the incident and are in the Bibb County jail.
Anyone with information of the whereabouts of the two remaining suspects are asked to contact the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office at 478-751-7500 and ask to speak to the on-call gang investigator or call Macon Regional Crimestoppers at 877-68-CRIME.
