Man robs Macon Dollar General

The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is looking for the man who robbed the Dollar General located at 3716 Houston Ave. in Macon.

The suspect entered the store and demanded money from the cash register at around 9 p.m., according to a news release. The suspect received an undisclosed amount of cash and fled the store in an unknown direction.

The suspect is described as a black male, approximately 6 feet in height and slender in build. He was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and black pants. The man was armed with a black handgun, the release said.
