Masked gunman robs Macon restaurant on Pio Nono Avenue

A gunman in a mask robbed the Tai-wan restaurant Tuesday night at 2525 Pio Nono Ave.

Just before 10:10 p.m., the man demanded money from the cash register, took it and ran off from the eatery in the old Westgate shopping center, according to a news release from the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies are looking for a black man, who was wearing a black mask, a black shirt and black shorts, the release stated.
