Suspect sought in south Macon armed robbery
The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is looking for a suspect in connection with an armed robbery in south Macon late Monday.
About 11:30 p.m. an armed black male wearing all black clothes and a black ski mask entered the Flash Foods at 4314 Pio Nono Ave. Carrying a revolver, he demanded money and two cartons of cigarettes. Once he received those items, the suspect fled the store and ran toward Glendale Avenue.
Anyone with information about this incident is urged to call the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office at 478-751-7500 and ask to leave a message for the on-call investigator, or call Macon Regional Crimestoppers at 877-68-CRIME.
