Two indicted in Macon nightclub shooting

Two men accused in a February shooting outside a south Macon nightclub were indicted Tuesday.

Satravias D. Holmes, 25, and Jawaski Keon Mack, 27, face aggravated assault and other charges in a shooting outside Club Status on Pio Nono Avenue that left a 20-year-old man shot several times.

Authorities have said the shooting happened after a fight inside the club.

The eight-count indictment accuses Holmes and Mack of gun charges and numerous gang-related crimes.

Other indictments handed up by Bibb County grand jurors on Tuesday included:

* Richard Trumaine Whipple, 39, who allegedly shot and wounded a 21-year-old man last October outside a Macon food mart at the corner of Columbus Road and Brentwood Avenue. Whipple, said to be associated with the Crips street gang, has been charged with aggravated assault, participating in gang activity and illegal possession of a firearm.

* Michael Jewell Glenn, 39, arrested in June after a DNA match at a GBI crime lab allegedly linked him to the 2014 rape of a Macon woman.

Glenn faces rape, aggravated sexual battery and burglary charges in the September 2014 incident at a house on Courtland Avenue.
