Man shot in the foot during Macon domestic dispute

A 50-year-old man drove to a south Macon store early Thursday after he was shot in the foot just before 3:30 a.m. in a domestic dispute.

Deputies initially were called to 647 Paul St., which is off Broadway near Mead Road.

The 45-year-old woman living there said her ex-husband, Terrance Bryson, broke into her apartment through a window and confronted her and Robert Samples Jr. in her bedroom, according to a news release from the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office.

The 41-year-old Bryson is accused of sticking a gun in his ex-wife’s mouth and firing a shot over her shoulder and hitting Samples, who fled in his car to get the woman some cigarettes from the Flash Foods at 4314 Pio Nono Ave.

He was listed in stable condition after being transported by ambulance to the Medical Center, Navicent Health.

Bryson also is accused of firing at his ex-wife as he left in her car.
