Four people shot outside Macon’s Memorial Park Center

Four people were shot Saturday night in the parking lot of the Memorial Park Center at 2465 2nd St., police said.

Terrell Evans, 23, Tavares Evans, 25, Tre’von Wood, 17, and Davis Gay, 26, all of Macon, were taken to the Medical Center, Navicent Health.

Gay was listed in critical but stable condition, while Wood and Terrell Evans were listed in stable condition Sunday, according to a Bibb County Sheriff’s Office news release. Tavares Evans has been treated and discharged from the hospital.

Sheriff’s deputy Clay Williams said there was a large gathering at the center when multiple shots were fired in the parking lot about 9:43 p.m.

The crowd immediately dispersed, with sheriff’s investigators still questioning potential witnesses and investigating the incident, Williams said.
