Teen stable after stabbing on West Highlands Drive
A teenager is in stable condition after being stabbed during an argument Saturday.
The incident happened at about 3:10 p.m. at Shadowood West Apartments on 4344 West Highlands Drive, according to a Bibb County Sheriff’s Office release.
Deputies were told that a male juvenile knocked on the door of an apartment in the 100 building. Deaudre L. Searcy, 17, answered and the two began to argue, the release stated. The two began fighting and the unidentified juvenile pulled out a knife and stabbed Searcy in the left arm, the release stated.
The suspect fled and Searcy was taken to a hospital for treatment. He is listed in stable condition.
