Bibb deputies’ canine unit awarded ballistic vests

Members of the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office’s canine unit have been awarded protective vests to help protect its’ four-legged members from gunfire and stab wounds, according to a news release.

Animal lover Laura Armstrong and a company match by The McKesson Foundation funded the vests, according to the release.

The vests will be embroidered with the sentiment, “With God’s grace proud to serve with honor and courage.”
