Deputies seek information on Williamson Road shooting in Macon. What we know

The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office seeks information on an incident on Tuesday night where a man was shot in his vehicle, according to a news release.

Deputies were dispatched to the 3400 block of Williamson Road around 8:30 p.m. They found a 34-year-old man suffering from a gunshot wound, the news release said.

He was transported to a local medical facility. Medical staff told deputies that the injuries are non-life-threatening. The victim is listed in stable condition, according to the news release.

The incident is under investigation. Deputies urge anyone with information to contact the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office at 478-751-7500 or Macon Regional Crimestoppers at 1-877-68CRIME.
