Macon men arrested in connection to June robbery
Two Macon men were arrested in connection with the June 19 robbery at the Budgetel Inn & Suites on Holiday Inn Drive North.
The U.S. Marshal’s Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force and Bibb County sheriff’s deputies arrested Andre Yolandus Poole, 21, and Arielle Tremaine Poole, 20, according to a Bibb County Sheriff’s Office news release.
Both men were charged with aggravated battery and robbery as well as violating probation.

The men allegedly entered the business and began striking the manager in the face and head with their fists, according to an earlier release. One of the suspects picked up a chair and struck the manager in the face. They allegedly took an undisclosed amount of cash and the victim’s cellphone.
The two men were arrested in Bibb County at around 5:30 p.m. Wednesday on a tip to Crimestoppers.
The men were transported to the Bibb County Law Enforcement Complex, and each have a bond set at $27,900.00.
