Woman survives gunshot wound in Mercer University Drive shooting in Macon
A woman survived a gunshot wound from a shooting Wednesday night on Mercer University Drive in Macon, according to a news release from the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Thursday.
The shooting occurred inside a residential area in the 3600 block of Mercer University Drive around 10:46 p.m. Wednesday, according to the news release.
Deputies who responded to the scene found a 29-year-old woman suffering from a gunshot wound.
She was taken via ambulance to a local medical facility, where medical staff listed her in stable condition.
