A man was fined $1 million and sentenced to 25 years in prison for trafficking drugs in Warner Robins, according to the Houston County District Attorney’s Office.

After being convicted of three prior drug-related felonies, Gregory Ford, 51, pleaded guilty and was convicted of trafficking cocaine, which landed him the sentence, Houston County District Attorney Eric Edwards said in a news release.

“The defendant’s criminal history makes clear that he has been given prior opportunities to change course and has chosen instead to continue dealing narcotics,” Edwards said. “That pattern is exactly what our office and our law enforcement partners are working to disrupt.”

Anonymous tipsters reported Ford for selling drugs from a home on the 100 block of Margaret Drive in June 2025, according to the DA.

“Investigators then made several controlled buys from Ford at this location during June 2024, later obtaining arrest warrants and a search warrant for the residence,” Edwards said.

The Warner Robins Police Department’s Narcotics Intelligence Unit served a search warrant at the home the next month.

Officers said they found over 950 grams, or 2 pounds, of cocaine in Ford’s bedroom, almost 40 grams of marijuana, around $1,000, scales and packing material, according to the DA’s office.

Possessing at least 28 grams of cocaine is considered trafficking under Georgia law.

“This case involves a career drug dealer operating at a high level within our community,” Edwards said. “The quantity of cocaine recovered in this investigation was not consistent with personal use — it was consistent with distribution on a scale that puts countless lives at risk.”
