Easter morning shooting injures 2 in Warner Robins, police say

Gunshots reportedly broke out and injured two people after a fight Easter morning in Warner Robins, according to the Warner Robins Police Department.

Someone called 911 about “a fight in process with shots fired” around 3 a.m. Sunday, Lt. Patrick Allen said in a news release. The incident happened at a house in the 600 block of Clemson Drive, in a neighborhood off North Houston Road.

Officers found a 45-year-old woman with a gunshot wound in her leg at the scene. She was taken to a hospital for treatment, Allen said.

Around 7 p.m., a 25-year-old man arrived at a local hospital for treatment of a gunshot wound from the same incident, according to the WRPD.

The police department’s Criminal Investigation and Identification Criminalists divisions were investigating the case as aggravated assault.
