A woman allegedly tied to a recent Houston County homicide was arrested in Colorado Wednesday, according to the Perry Police Department.

The U.S. Marshals Service helped arrest Tylar Oglesby in Denver, Colo., on a warrant for being a party to a crime in the killing of Diandre Oates, police said in a news release Thursday.

Oates was found dead from gunshot wounds on March 12 at Houston Lake Apartments on Houston Lake Road, officers said.

The Georgia Bureau of Investigation and Perry Police Department were investigating the fatal shooting.

Anyone with tips was urged to call Det. Sergeant Aaron Conner at 478-988-2829, or Macon Regional Crimestoppers at 1-877-68CRIME.

Police denied The Telegraph’s request for further details and did not immediately release public records related to Oates’ death and Oglesby’s arrest.
