Grand jury declines to indict murder suspect in Buffalo Wild Wings shooting death
A Baldwin County grand jury declined to indict a man charged in the shooting death of a Buffalo Wild Wings employee in Milledgeville, Ocmulgee Judicial Circuit District Attorney T. Wright Barksdale confirmed Friday.
Micha Brown evaded trial in the shooting death of Nytavious Stone at Buffalo Wild Wings at 2472 North Columbia St. in August 2025.
Additional charges pending
The grand jury delivered the “No Bill” in Micha Brown’s case after an hour-long presentation by the Milledgeville Police Department and a crime scene specialist, according to Barksdale.
“There are two other individuals, not facing murder charges, (who) have been arrested,” Barksdale said. “We are still reviewing those individuals and their (respective) cases.”
Micha Brown’s twin brother, William Brown, “was sent to prison on a probation revocation based on the aggravated assault he committed against Mr. Stone prior to the shooting,” Barksdale said. William Brown’s case is still pending.
“William Brown’s mother is the second individual,” Barksdale said. “She was arrested for tampering with evidence. Her case is still pending.”
‘An argument between two employees’
There was an “argument between two (Buffalo Wild Wings) employees (that) escalated into a physical confrontation” on Aug. 23, 2025, the Milledgeville Police Department said on Facebook at the time.
Officers were dispatched to the location. When they were en route, they learned that one person had been shot. They later found Stone suffering “multiple gunshot wounds on the side of the building,” the police department said.
Stone died after being transported to Navicent Health Baldwin, the police department said.
Micha Brown and William Brown were then arrested on Aug. 24, 2025, on charges of malice murder, felony murder and aggravated assault.
