Suspects pulled guns on Macon store clerk, fled with money, sheriff’s office says
The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is searching for suspects in an armed robbery that happened Monday evening, according to a news release.
The robbery happened at Broadway Mini Mart, 4205 Broadway, just before 8:30 p.m.
“It was reported that two armed suspects entered the business brandishing firearms and demanding money from the clerk,” the sheriff’s office said in a news release. “The suspects fled the business with an undisclosed amount of cash. Once outside, the suspects, along with an additional suspect, fled on foot westbound on Charlotte Street.”
The two armed suspects were wearing all-dark clothing with hoodies, the sheriff’s office said. The third suspect, who joined them after they left the building, was wearing a blue and white hoodie.
No injuries were reported, the sheriff’s office said.
