2 injured after suspect shoots into their car at a Warner Robins McDonald’s drive-thru

The Warner Robins Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance to locate a suspect in an aggravated assault incident that occurred Sunday afternoon, according to a news release.

Police responded to 1869 Watson Blvd. on Sunday in reference to shots fired, where they made contact with two victims who sustained minor injuries “from the glass shattering as their vehicle was shot,” according to the news release.

The victims were in their vehicle in the drive-thru at McDonald’s when an unknown suspect “walking through the parking lot shot several times into their vehicle and then ran from the area,” police said in the news release.

Police urge anyone with information relating to the incident to contact Detective Robert Broussard at 478-302-5380 or the Macon Regional CrimeStoppers.
