A man died in an alleged domestic violence incident Tuesday in Warner Robins, according to a city official.

A 911 call out of Houston County reported a person was shot around 10 p.m. in the 200 block of King Drive in a neighborhood off Elberta Road, according to a Wednesday news release from Mandy Stella, city clerk of Warner Robins.

Officers from the Warner Robins Police Department were dispatched to the scene and found a man with “several gunshot wounds,” Stella said.

Emory Healthcare emergency medical services aided the victim at the scene and took him to Emory Hospital-Watson Campus, where he died.

The WRPD Criminal Investigations Division was investigating the death as a “domestic family violence investigation,” Stella said.

The identities of those allegedly involved were not immediately released.
