Suspect flees after robbing man at a Macon ATM, investigators say
The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office wants the public’s help identifying a suspect who allegedly robbed a man at a Bank of America in Macon on Wednesday, they said in a news release.
The incident was called into the Macon Bibb E-911 Center on Wednesday around 2:40 p.m., according to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office. A patron that was outside of the Bank of America located at 3855 Bloomfield Road, using the ATM machine, was approached by an unidentified man who “took an undisclosed amount of money from him,” deputies said.
“After receiving an undisclosed amount of money, the person of interest was observed fleeing from the scene on foot,” deputies said.
