1 dead, twins arrested after shooting at Buffalo Wild Wings in Milledgeville, cops say
Two twins were charged in connection to an alleged murder after a restaurant employee was killed at his job in Milledgeville Saturday, according to the Milledgeville Police Department.
The shooting happened at Buffalo Wild Wings at 2472 North Columbia St., the police department said on Facebook.
“An argument between two employees escalated into a physical confrontation,” then one of them was shot, according to the Facebook post and Maj. Brandon Fellers.
Officers were dispatched to the business regarding a “physical altercation,” then learned while en route that one person was shot, officers said.
They found a person with “multiple gunshot wounds on the side of the building,” the police department said. Officers identified the victim as Nytavious Stone, 25.
Emergency medical services took Stone to Navicent Health Baldwin, where they died, police said.
William Shannon Brown and Micha Shannon Brown, 24-year-old twins, were being held in custody Saturday in relation to the shooting, Fellers said. They were still detained Monday afternoon.
One of the suspects was an employee at the restaurant, Fellers said. It was unclear if the business took disciplinary action.
Micha Shannon Brown was charged with malice murder, felony murder, aggravated assault and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, the police department said.
William Shannon Brown was charged with aggravated assault, police said.
“This appears to be an isolated incident, and there is no ongoing threat to the public,” police said.
Detectives were still investigating the shooting Monday.
