Two brothers were charged with murder after they shot and killed a Warner Robins man in Oklahoma City Thursday, according to police and jail records.

The Oklahoma City Police Department received a call regarding a shooting around 7:30 p.m. at an apartment complex at 5101 North Brookline Ave., officers said in a news release.

They found Savon Shabazz Miller, a 30-year-old man, dead in the apartment complex courtyard, police said in an incident report.

Miller was from Warner Robins, then moved to Las Vegas, then to Oklahoma, according to a GoFundMe started to raise money for memorial expenses.

Miller “appeared to have been shot to death” with a 12-gauge handgun, police said in a news release and incident report.

They found one suspect, Talor Joseph Brannon, shortly after arriving at the apartments. The 22-year-old was arrested at 11:30 p.m. Thursday, at 700 Colcord Drive, an incident report said. He was booked in the Oklahoma County Detention Center around 2:30 a.m. Friday, according to an online detainee log.

Investigators initially believed Miller was killed during “an altercation” with Talor Brannon and another person, the police department said.

On Saturday, Nathanial Miller Brannon, Talor Brannon’s 24-year-old brother, was arrested around 1:30 a.m. at his home, 6050 South Harvey Ave, an incident report said. He was booked in the jail around 5 a.m., according to jail records.

The police department didn’t respond to The Telegraph’s request for comment or explain how the suspects were connected to the shooting.

Talor Brannon was charged with one count of first-degree murder and one count of first-degree burglary, a detainee log said.

Nathanial Brannon was charged with one count of first-degree murder and one count of carrying or possessing a firearm as a convicted felon, according to a detainee log.

They were each given bonds of $10 million, according to a detainee log.

Officers urged anyone with related information to call the police department’s homicide tip line at 405-297-1200.

Miller’s funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Friday, at the Richardson & Son Funeral Home at 405 S. 3rd St. in Warner Robins, according to an obituary posted by the funeral home.

Fundraiser for memorial

A GoFundMe is raising memorial expenses for Miller.

Forty-five donors raised around $2,880 by Tuesday morning toward a goal of $4,000, according to the website.

A GoFundMe user, D Mill, organized the fundraiser on behalf of Lenice Bennett, Miller’s mother.

Miller was a “die hard fan” of Louisiana State University football, University of North Carolina basketball and Atlanta Falcons football, D Mill said.

The fundraiser featured photos of him posing in Las Vegas, Atlanta and Miami.

“He was such an impactful human being once you met him and got to know him,” the fundraiser said.
