3 young men injured in gas station shooting in south Macon, deputies say
Three young adults, including a teenager, were shot at a Macon gas station Friday morning, according to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office.
A 911 caller reported shots fired just after 12 a.m. at the Chevron at 1106 Rocky Creek Road in south Macon, the sheriff’s office said.
Deputies responded to the area and found a 20-year-old man and 19-year-old man with gunshot wounds, according to a news release.
Paramedics responded to the scene and took them to a medical facility for treatment, deputies said.
A 22-year-old man was also “suffering from a gunshot wound,” but went in a personal vehicle to a hospital, deputies said.
Medical staff told deputies the three victims had non-life-threatening injuries, according to the sheriff’s office.
The shooting was being investigated as “aggravated assault” Friday morning, deputies said.
