The Warner Robins Police Department said a man was attacked with a box cutter and a stick while giving a couple a ride on July 21, 2025.

A man and woman used a box cutter and a stick to attack a man while he was giving them a ride in his car Monday before carjacking him, according to the Warner Robins Police Department.

The incident happened at around 10 a.m. Monday, according to a news release from Warner Robins police.

A 50-year-old man was giving a ride to 25-year-old Tameisha Carter and 62-year-old Neal Speer when Carter attacked the driver with a box cutter, according to the Warner Robins Police Department. The driver pulled the car over on Meadowdale Drive and got out, only for Speer to follow him and attack him with a stick.

While the driver was out of the car, Speer and Carter stole the vehicle and fled the scene.

The victim sustained minor injuries to his head and neck and was transported to the hospital. He was in stable condition Monday afternoon, the release said.

As officers were arriving at the scene, the car was found abandoned off South Pleasant Hill Road. Witnesses said they saw Carter and Speer go into a home on Pleasant Hill Court.

Police arrested Carter and Speer at the home and recovered the car, the release said. The two are being charged with aggravated assault, armed robbery and hijacking a motor vehicle, according to police.
