Macon man indicted on federal bank robbery charge
A federal grand jury indicted a 29-year-old Macon man Wednesday in a June 11 robbery at State Bank, 3945 Pio Nono Ave.
Kevin Trevin Foster is charged with one count of bank robbery, according to the indictment filed in U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Georgia.
Foster allegedly entered the bank about 9:45 a.m. and handed a bank teller a deposit slip with a demand for money. No weapon was displayed and no one was injured, according to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office.
Foster was later apprehended at the Quality Inn on Chambers Road after a Macon Regional CrimeStoppers tip helped identify him as the alleged robber.
