Missing Macon boy reportedly found

An 8-year-old Macon boy who was reported missing Thursday in an apparent custody dispute has reportedly been found.

Jorvon Zion Watkins was last seen May 30 at his mother’s house at 2487 Clearwater Circle, just south of Shurling Drive and east of New Clinton Road.

Authorities said the child’s father had picked him up for what was a regular visitation and failed to return him in mid-June.

Details of how he was found, or where, were not immediately available, but a Levi’s Call alert online early Thursday afternoon said the boy had been located.

According to authorities, a suspect in the incident was Robert Lee Watkins Jr., 41, the boy’s father, who lives in Augusta.
