Deputies arrest third suspect in fatal shooting at Macon apartment complex

Deputies with the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office arrested a second suspect in connection to a fatal shooting that occurred early this month at an apartment complex in Macon, they said Tuesday.

Alfonso Jose Hyman, 35, was charged with murder after investigators identified him as a suspect in the shooting death of Marcus Cunningham Jr., 22, at Autumn Trace Apartments located at 1745 Rocky Creek Road on June 5. A 16-year-old and a 17-year-old were also arrested and charged with Cunningham’s murder last week, deputies said.

Hyman was arrested and transported to the Bibb County Jail on Tuesday without incident. He was being held Tuesday without bond.
