FBI wants help finding 3 men facing federal drug charges in Macon. What we know.
The FBI is asking the public for help locating three men who are wanted on federal charges, saying the suspects are tied to drug distribution in Macon and are part of a larger criminal case.
The men — Leroy Mintz, 29; Trayvon Simmons, 28; and Devonta Jackson, 30 — were indicted in January alongside nine other people. The other nine defendants have been apprehended, but the FBI is still searching for these three.
The men are wanted on several federal charges including conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute controlled substances and possession of a firearm in furtherance of a drug trafficking crime.
According to the wanted posters distributed by the FBI, the men were involved in distributing cocaine and crack cocaine throughout Macon. Their charges stemmed from a 2023 investigation into drug distribution in the city.
