Woman allegedly brought child along to rob Macon credit union. Deputies seek tips
The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is looking for help identifying a woman who allegedly robbed a local credit union for an unspecified amount of money Wednesday, deputies said in a news release.
The woman, alongside a small child, allegedly entered the Robins Financial Credit Union at 4245 Log Cabin Drive and passed a note to a teller that demanded money and warned them she was armed. She left the business and got into a white Nissan Maxima after she received an unspecified amount of money from the teller, deputies with the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office said. The Macon-Bibb 911 Emergency Center received a call regarding the incident around 9 a.m. Wednesday, they said.
She fled south and no injuries were reported.
The alleged robber is described as a woman who wore an all-black outfit, including her hoodie and face mask. The child was wearing a Spider-Man outfit with a matching bookbag, deputies with the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office said.
