Woman killed in alleged domestic dispute, 1 arrested in Warner Robins, police say
A woman was shot and killed during an alleged domestic dispute Friday at a house in Warner Robins, according to the Warner Robins Police Department.
Officers were dispatched to a “domestic with shots fired” inside the home around 12 a.m. Friday in the 100 block of Willis Creek Road, a news release from the sheriff’s office said.
They found 39-year-old victim Falon Graham and 43-year-old suspect Antonio Mendy inside the residence.
Graham “sustained two gunshot wounds to the abdomen” and was taken to a local hospital where she later died, police said.
Mendy was taken into custody at the scene, WRPD said. Police did not disclose what charges Mendy is facing, and did not immediately respond to The Telegraph’s request for comment.
The WRPD’s Criminal Investigation Unit and Identification Crime Scene Unit were investigating the alleged homicide Friday morning, officers said in the news release.
Police urged anyone with information to call Detective Juan Garcia at 478-302-5380, or Macon Regional Crimestoppers at 1-877-68CRIME.
