2 critically injured and hospitalized, including a teen, in Macon shooting
A teenager and a young adult were severely injured during a shooting in southwest Macon Tuesday morning, according to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies were dispatched to a 911 call regarding a person shot around 10 a.m. in the 3000 block of Bloomfield Drive, off Eisenhower Parkway, a news release from the sheriff’s office said.
Deputies found a 19-year-old woman and 23-year-old man “suffering from a gunshot wound” at the scene, the BCSO said.
Paramedics took them to a medical facility where they were listed in “critical, but stable condition,” the news release said.
The circumstances of the aggravated assault were under investigation Tuesday afternoon.
