GBI test results show Thomas' DNA, or the DNA of his identical twin if he has one, matches evidence collected from a sexual assault kit performed on the woman, according to the warrant.
Thomas is being held at the Bibb County jail on $275,200 bond, according to jail records.
He initially was hired to work at the Eastman Youth Development Campus, but later transferred to the Macon Regional Youth Detention Center before resigning in March 2014.
