Shooter hides, kills 25-year-old woman near Baldwin County salon. What we know.
A 25-year-old woman was shot outside a salon and later pronounced dead Sunday in Baldwin County, investigators say.
Deputies with the Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office responded to a 911 call just after 9 p.m. on Sunday, which indicated shots were fired near Twisted D’s Salon at 370 Memorial Drive. Keishonna Todd was found lying on the ground in the parking lot with multiple gunshot wounds, an incident report from the shooting said.
She was taken to the emergency room at Atrium Navicent Hospital where she was pronounced dead.
Another person was accompanying Todd, but they were not shot, said Maj. Brad King with the sheriff’s office.
The investigation indicated that Todd was shot by a single shooter, who was hiding behind the building and came out as the victims headed into their car, said King, who attributed the information to witnesses at the scene. Two vehicles at the parking garage were also struck by bullets, the incident report said.
