Shooting in Macon neighborhood leaves 1 person in critical condition, deputies say
A man was severely injured during a shooting in a Macon neighborhood Sunday, the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office confirmed.
A 911 call made at 3:30 a.m. told dispatchers gunshots were fired within the 300 block of Rogers Avenue and Rogers Place, according to a news release from the sheriff’s office.
Deputies responded to the scene and they were informed a 32-year-old victim was “suffering from a gunshot wound,” deputies said.
He was taken in a personal vehicle to a medical facility and listed in critical condition, the news release said.
