Teenager arrested for murder after 2 people shot in Macon, deputies say
Deputies on Monday arrested one teen for the murder of another teen in Macon, the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office said.
Deputies responded to a 911 call made just before 4:06 p.m. Friday regarding a person shot in the 900 block of Dorothy Street.
When deputies arrived, they found Hunter Hall, 19, “lying in the driveway” with a gunshot wound, a press release said. Coroner Luanne Stone said Hall died on the scene and she notified the next of kin.
Another person Korky Clark, 20, was shot and taken to a local hospital where he was listed in critical but stable condition, deputies said.
Bibb investigators and the Wilkinson County Sheriff’s Office arrested Dominique Brezial, 18, Monday for the death of Hall. Brezial was booked in the Bibb County Jail on murder charges and is held without bond.
The shooting is under investigation. Anyone with related information is urged by deputies to contact the sheriff’s office at 478-751-7500, or Macon Regional Crime Stoppers at 1-877-68CRIME.
