20-year-old dies after shooting in a Macon home, Bibb County coroner confirms
A 20-year-old man died after was shot in a Macon home Thursday morning, according to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies responded to a 911 call made at 10:18 a.m. regarding “a person down” inside a home on the 2400 block of Holland Drive, a press release said.
Deputies found Gabreon Tyrese Harrison suffering from a gunshot wound when they arrived.
Paramedics took him to a hospital for treatment where he later died, according to county Coroner Leon Jones. The next of kin was notified.
No one else was injured during the incident, which is under investigation.
