Three Georgia suspects charged, arrested after deadly Easter Sunday shooting

The Georgia Bureau of Investigation has arrested and charged three people in connection to a double homicide that also left five people injured Easter Sunday in Dublin, the agency announced Wednesday.

Police determined that it was a drive-by shooting involving the three suspects, the GBI said.

Jaswain Bell, 23, of Dublin, was charged Tuesday with two counts of murder, seven counts of aggravated assault, seven counts of possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime, seven counts of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and street gang terrorism and prevention.

Kyndall Brazeal, 22, of Rentz, was arrested and charged Monday with two counts of party to the crime of felony murder, seven counts of party to the crime of aggravated assault and street gang terrorism and prevention.

Quintez Mercer, 27, of East Dublin, was arrested and charged on Wednesday with two counts of felony murder, seven counts of aggravated assault, seven counts of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and street gang terrorism and prevention.

Authorities say all three individuals have been booked into the Laurens County Detention Center.

One victim from the shooting remains in the hospital under stable condition, officials say.
