ATM recovered in trash pile in Macon
Macon police recovered an ATM from near the intersection of Winship Street and Niagara Avenue just before noon Sunday after receiving a tip, according to a police report.
An officer saw a pile of trash and a sofa that appeared to cover an object. After moving the sofa, the officer discovered the ATM, according to the report.
The machine had been pried open, and all the money appeared to be gone, according to the report.
