Third man arrested in killing of Macon man
A third man has been arrested in the Dec. 2 killing of a Macon man.
Devontay Wilson was arrested Thursday in Cochran in connection with the shooting death of Travis Briscoe, according to a Macon police news release.
Macon police previously arrested Christian Brown, 19, of Macon, and Deqwontex Simmons, 19, of Macon, on charges of armed robbery and murder. According to police reports, Simmons and Brown tried to force their way into Briscoe’s residence at 1163 Boulevard in an attempted robbery the day of the killing.
Briscoe was shot multiple times and later died at The Medical Center of Central Georgia.
