Two people arrested in Cordele pharmacy robbery

Cordele police arrested two people following a Monday armed robbery of the CVS pharmacy on East 16th Avenue.Travis Deonta Curtis and an unnamed juvenile were arrested Tuesday, according to a news release from the Cordele Police Department.

Curtis is accused of pointing a gun at the cashier about 9:30 p.m. Monday and demanding money. He is charged with armed robbery and the juvenile was charged with party to the crime of armed robbery.
