Man killed in collision on I-75 in Bibb County, police arrest Macon man after wreck

A man was killed in a two-vehicle crash on Interstate 75 Friday afternoon in Macon, and Bibb County Sheriff’s deputies arrested a Macon man in connection with the wreck.

Tyler Scott Northcutt, 22, was driving a gray Honda south on I-75 when his car was struck from behind by a Toyota Tundra. Northcutt was pronounced dead on the scene by Bibb County Deputy Coroner Luann Stone and his next of kin have been notified.

Bibb County deputies arrested Rene Rolando Guox-cos, 40, of Macon, at the scene and charged him with second degree vehicular homicide, driving on a suspended license and following too close. Guox-cos is currently being held at the Bibb County jail without a bond.
