Macon man, 21, found shot to death in parking lot on Montpelier Friday night
Bibb County Sheriff’s deputies are investigating the shooting death of a Macon man after his body was found in a parked car on Montpelier Friday evening.
Police said Eric Payton Thomas Jr., 21, was found shot to death inside his vehicle in the parking lot of 2241 Montpelier Ave. after someone called 911 around 7:50 p.m.
Bibb County Deputy Coroner Ronnie Miley pronounced Thomas dead at the scene.
