Macon man, 20, found fatally wounded Saturday evening by Bibb County deputies

A 20-year-old Macon man was fatally wounded Saturday evening in a shooting on Grier Street, between Ingleside Village and Vineville Avenue.

According to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office, deputies found Cadarrius Terrell Porter, 20, in the 300 block of Grier Street, wounded from a shooting that occurred just after 6 p.m. Porter was transported to a local hospital, where staff pronounced him dead.

Investigators are working to determine what led to the shooting and to identify a suspect.
