Police arrested a third man for felony murder Monday after having two in custody in the shooting that killed one teen in Milledgeville Thursday, officials said.

The GBI arrested Jarius Washington, 19, for felony murder Monday afternoon, according to a statement from the GBI. Washington is the third person arrested in connection with the shooting that killed Syee Devon Havior, 18.

Malik Smith, 18, of Milledgeville was arrested and charged with felony murder in the shooting. A youth was also in custody, the GBI said Monday.

Havior was killed during a home invasion, the GBI said. He was shot around 1 a.m. Thursday when multiple people arrived at his house and one person started shooting.

Havior was found at the scene and taken to a local hospital, where he later died from his injuries.

It was unclear in the GBI statement Monday whether there are more suspects in the case, or which of the people arrested may have shot Havior.
