One Macon man killed, another wounded in Saturday evening shooting in Pleasant Hill

One Macon man was killed and another injured Saturday evening in Pleasant Hill.

According to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office, Tylik Emmanuel Young, 22, was found dead in the 1800 block of Third Avenue shortly after 5 p.m. Jordan Shamone Young, 18, was injured and taken to a local hospital in a personal vehicle. The sheriff’s office didn’t note whether or how the two Youngs were related.

No one else was injured and no information on a suspect was released. The killing is the 62nd in Bibb County this year.
