Man shot amid a group of people fighting at a Bibb County mobile home park

Shots rang out amid a group of people involved in a fight at a mobile home park in Bibb County, wounding a 40-year-old man in the abdomen Wednesday night.

The victim, identified as Daryl Seth Beckham, was listed in critical but stable condition at the Medical Center, Navicent Health, according to a Bibb County Sheriff’s Office news release.

“During the physical altercation, an unknown person pulled a gun and fired multiple shots,” the release said.

The incident was reported at 8:33 p.m. at Green Pine Acres Mobile Home Park at 5600 Hawkinsville Road.

No suspect information was available.
